Reputation

Reputation is the most important thing in this world ... well at least when puberty hits us. As it seems it is very important. Have you ever gone to school and not thought of how you looked? Have you ever gone running outside with no makeup and no thoughts of what people might think?

There is a very big amount of people that couldn't do such things. They would do anything to make their reputation good, or to hide who they really are.

My dear friend told me once " I lost my reputation long ago, and I haven't missed it since"

People even go out with someone just because of their reputation (are in a relationship with). This girl I know, she went out with the most popular guy in our school, just to be more popular and have a "better" reputation.

I hate that feeling.

I have it inside of me as well, to some extent I want to look nice for school. But I don't need heavy eyeliner and fake lashes. Come on, it's only school. You learn there ... it isn't some sort of a modeling agency.

What I like a lot is, when a girl isn't wearing that much makeup for school, and then at a party she wares a lot, and everyone is like WOW.

For your sake, care what you think and not what others do. YOU matter the most, and the only people who you should care about is your parents and the people you trust the most.

This world is changing, a lot of people will want to benefit from you. You can see that from all the abuse and sexual harassment. A man would say "I love you", to get a girl into bed. (Watch the movie Trust)

People through time

I was going through the internet, and came across a movie called "Factory Girl". It is a very heart touching story. (I recommend you to watch it, although my friend fell asleep in the beginning of it. It's very interesting.)

The movie is happening between 1962 to 1968. It talks about a girl called Edie. Edie Sedgwick was born on the April 20, 1943.

If you don't know who she is, she was a major actress and a model in the 60s. She changed the style of the 60s, she was called the "It Girl".

At the same time she was Andy Warhol's superstar. Andy Warhol was an American painter and movie maker. The thing he was most famous for was pop art. It was refreshing and nobody else had ever done it before.

Some more pictures of Edie Sedgwick

At some point she was into Bob Dylan

She is such an inspiring person. I love her:)

 Watch the movie!

Hope you read some more.

Photography, my passion ...

During the Summer (which I miss), I got a new camera. I was very exited, but I didn't very much have the time to use it.

This time of the year is the best to take pictures, because of all the colorful leafs and all the sunsets. I decided to show you some of my pictures.

-Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower-

-Don't even think of trying, It's addicting-

-My best friend-

First but not last

My name is Trina, and I decided to start a blog. As it is very obvious, I had no idea what to put as my blog title, so I just wrote what came to my mind.

The point of this blog is, for me just to share things with the world.  I find it very interesting that people like to read about other people's lives. Look at GossipGirl. Not that I like to watch it, it just cracks me up how much drama there is. I would think that people want to stay away from drama, but I guess they are hungry for it. My statement about this is, I like to observe, but not have anything to do with it.

Anyways, about me then. I am a teenage girl who lives in Finland. I have moved from my homecountry, because of my dad's job. You would think it's pretty hard to go away from home, but for me it wasn't. I am a very social person, so I got a lot of friends. In my previous school we had English, but not as a mother tongue. It would be English as a second language. It was very hard to write all those essays and lab reports, but now I have gotten use to it.

I hope you enjoy my blog.

Have a wonderful life,

Trina
